We had a long, cold winter this year. And strangely, no birds came to the bird feeder, even we tried to offer them a smorgasbord of different foods.
Finally, end of February, some house finches, pine siskins and chickadees showed up. How wonderful to hear them chirping! It gives a warm feeling fo spring, joy and thankfulness.
